Two printmaking exhibitions feature CSU students and faculty. The 528.0 Exhibition is a regional juried exhibition encompassing artists from all adjacent states to Colorado. CSU BFA candidate Grace Morris and MFA candidate Johanna Guilfoyle were selected to exhibit work. Imprint: Print Educators of Colorado is dedicated specifically to college and university level print educators of Colorado from across the state. CSU’s Johnny Plastini, Assistant Professor and Area Coordinator of Printmaking, and Andrew Meyer, Printmaking Instructor, both have work in the show. These exhibits run from January 16 to March 29, 2020 and the opening reception is Thursday, January 16th, from 6-9pm. It is located at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003. There are many other respected artists exhibiting print-related work throughout the Arvada Center. It is an eclectic group of pieces ranging from interactive participatory engagements, large scale installations, framed works on paper, things that creep around the walls and hang from the ceilings. All of the work is part of Mo’Print, a celebration of the art of making original prints to inspire, educate, and promote awareness in the Denver Metro Area, the Front Range Region, and throughout Colorado.
