KCSU has a brand new podcast from Colorado State University’s Department of Art and Art History called The Future. The Future is a space created by professor Aitor Lajarin-Encina and art history students to discuss critical contemporary art and culture issues with artists and other guests. The podcast is organized by DXIX Projects, an artist-run initiative based in the CSU Department of Art and Art History dedicated to offering opportunities for artists and other cultural producers to develop progressive art-related projects and pedagogical experiences with local and global communities.

For its inaugural episode, the podcast interviews Berkeley- and Los Angeles-based artists and artist-run space directors Brendan and Molly Getz about their exhibition at K102A Office in the art department, their art practices and what it means to be an artist and to run a non-profit art initiative nowadays.
