- One large Takach etching press (39.5” x 72” press bed)

- Three etching bathes in an isolated well-ventilated room: each bath at 33” x 42” can accommodate plates up to 24” x 36”.
- We primarily focus on low-toxicity etching that utilizes copper sulfate and zinc plates.
- Ferric chloride is available for advanced and graduate students etching with copper.
- Indoor rosin aquatint box and outdoor courtyard for non-toxic airbrush techniques
- Four large hotplates (28” x 36” surface)
- Three large stainless-steel sinks (36” x 48”) in the main room for soaking paper

- An expansive collection of over 140 soft yellow and hard gray lithographic stones in small, medium, and large sizes

- Well-stocked inventory of lithographic inks and modifiers for communal use
- Movable hanging power outlets are conveniently found above all six large wooden workstations for those interested in Dremel work inside the shop
- Wide choices of gouges, barens, and brayers for communal use. Wood is available for tax-free purchase on an individual basis through our in-shop studio store
- A semi-private courtyard and garden just outside the shop is used for larger woodblock work and traditional hand-printing practices
Darkroom area with its own stainless-steel sink and controlled lighting for photolithography, photo-intaglio processes, and screen exposures. A NuArc exposure unit is what is primarily used, in conjunction with solar exposures.
Two state-of-the-art computer labs are available in Visual Arts for image preparation
