Biography

Rosanna Bateman is the Assistant Director of the College of Liberal Arts Academic Support Center and an Academic Success Coordinator for the Department of Art & Art History.

Rosanna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international business and French from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois.  She earned a Master of Arts degree in French linguistics and a second Master of Arts degree in applied linguistics from Indiana University.  She taught English as a Second Language for several years before becoming an academic advisor for business students at Indiana University.  In addition to her advising role at IU, she worked with faculty to develop short-term international study programs and took students to India, South Korea, and Croatia. In her current role, she enjoys connecting with CSU students and working with them to explore their interests, learn about campus opportunities and resources, and achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Rosanna enjoys playing the piano, hiking, and traveling.  She loves doing word and number puzzles.  Most of all, she loves spending time with her family - no matter what the activity.
