Biography

Jason Frazier has over 30 years of experience in design, illustration, and education. Currently, he is Associate Professor and undergraduate program coordinator of Graphic Design in the Colorado State University Department of Art & Art History, and is co-director and coordinator of the Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition [CIIPE]. In addition, he is an affiliated faculty with Colorado State University’s School of Global Environmental Sustainability, and the Richardson Design Center, where he is part of a team teaching design thinking to students from across the university.
For the 2019-2020 academic year, Mr. Frazier was chosen as a School of Global Environmental Sustainability Resident Fellow, conducting research and producing new creative works that deal with the role visual communications have in shaping public discourse around climate change and environmental sustainability. In addition to teaching, Mr. Frazier continues to pursue research in design and sustainability, as well as professional work with a variety of clients in publication, identity design, illustration, and multimedia, and his personal work reflects his interest in technology, social, and environmental issues. He has been recognized and exhibited worldwide, being the recipient of multiple regional, national, and international awards for his efforts. Exhibition locations include the United States, Bolivia, Mexico, China, Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia, and South Korea.
