Join us for an afternoon with Leilani Lynch, Associate Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, whose curatorial practice highlights bold, experimental, and deeply resonant voices in contemporary art. At MCA Denver, she has organized exhibitions including Suki Seokyeong Kang: Mountain—Hour—Face (2025), Movements Toward Freedom (2024), Gala Porras-Kim: A hand in nature (2024), Steven Yazzie: Meandered (2024), Ken Gun Min: The Lost Paradise (2024), and Anna Tsouhlarakis: Indigenous Absurdities (2023).

Before joining MCA Denver, Lynch held curatorial positions at The Bass in Miami Beach (2015–2022), where she curated solo exhibitions by Jamilah Sabur, Cara Despain, Naama Tsabar, and Mika Rottenberg, and co-organized major presentations of Adrián Villar Rojas, Haegue Yang, and Paola Pivi. Her work extends beyond exhibitions into shaping dialogue in the field—she has been a Propel Fellow with the Association of Art Museum Curators (2024–25), contributed to panels and lectures at institutions such as STPI – Creative Workshop (Singapore) and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and served on juries for Creative Capital, Headlands Center for the Arts, Artadia, and others. Lynch holds a BA in Art History from UC Berkeley and a MAS in Curating from Zurich University of the Arts.

This program will be an opportunity to hear about Lynch’s journey, her approach to working with artists, and her insights into the evolving role of museums today.
