In No Particular Order: Work from Then to Now by CSU Art alumni & Graphic Artist John Metcalf.  The show runs from July 3 to September 8, 2023 and there will be a closing reception on September 8 from 5-8pm. The work shown is a collection of pieces that best represent his variety of projects and clients over the years. In addition to the finished work, some behind the scenes sketches and process books are included.

Bio

John Metcalf, owner of Perfect Square, has been in love with graphic design since he was a fifth grader, creating a poster for his elementary school’s annual carnival. Today, John has made an even stronger commitment to broaden the scope of graphic design. He believes that the success and prosperity of any company lies in its ability to reach customers with visual communication tools that are creative and focused on client-end goals. Metcalf’s more than 27 years of professional graphic design experience encompasses logo design, branding, print advertising, marketing collateral, annual reports, online promotions, and website design projects. Metcalf is equally adept at typography, multi-page print pieces, and complete advertising campaigns. Several of Metcalf’s designs have been recognized with local, state & regional awards and included in graphic design books and publications. Among its business awards, Metcalf was named the 2011 Young Professional of the Year by the Loveland Chamber of Commerce and was one of Northern Colorado Business Report’s 2013 40 Under Forty honorees. Metcalf is also an adjunct professor at Colorado State University.
