Johnny Plastini, associate professor of printmaking, will demonstrate his own research into experimental intaglio etching processes and collograph plates that are printed utilizing multi-color viscosity inking methods. This in-depth 4-hour workshop is demonstration-based only and is meant to present research and build unique skills for the intermediate to advanced printmaker. It is not a quick participatory workshop for those without prior experience with either intaglio etching or collograph printmaking. It is highly recommended that all workshop attendants bring a notebook and/or sketchbook for collecting information during the demonstration process.
Workshop limit of 20 individuals.
