Combinate is an exhibition of two bodies of digital works by Cecelia R. Kreider that explore the psychedelic and the surreal. A culmination of 5 years of study, “Heavenly Bodies” and “Earthly Bodies” are images of many combined forms: a selection of combined math formulas and elements of architecture, essences of cosmic rhythms, and astral photography. They are doors to new universes that have a deeply mystical and religious quality.

The exhibition runs from September 14th to October 15th, 2022 with an opening reception on September 14th from 4 – 6 p.m.

Cecelia Kreider earned her MFA from Alfred University in 2011 where she focused on bronze casting and the construction and operation of a DIY CNC milling machine. Her research interests are focused on the application of additive and subtractive computer-controlled manufacturing process applied to an artistic practice. Her practice is currently focused on the exploration and creation of 3d fractal like forms using specialized software and 3d printing. She is currently the Woodshop Supervisor and Fabrications coordinator for the Department of Art and Art History.
