The biennial Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition (CIIPE) is a collection from the world’s most distinguished poster artists and designers. Hosted by CSU’s Department of Art and Art History, CIIPE is one of only a few international invitational poster exhibitions in the world. This popular event allows campus and Northern Colorado communities to experience firsthand the best the poster world has to offer.

No events now.

CIIPE was co-founded in 1979 by CSU faculty and designers Phil Risbeck and John Sorbie, and Northern Colorado artist Bob Coonts. It serves as a unique educational resource allowing graphic design and art majors to work directly with designers study the work closely with current CSU graphic design faculty and gain valuable career experience preparing and installing the exhibition.

The exhibition occupies three of the major galleries on campus. The main exhibition is hung in both the Curfman Gallery & the Hatton Gallery, while the CIIPE Honor Laureate exhibition is held at the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art

The next CIIPE will be held in Fall 2024. Event information will be posted to this page as well as our Events Page.
