‘God is in the Details’: Lecture examines the clues in Raphael’s Madonnas

The Sept. 11 event will feature a lecture by Linda Wolk-Simon, a specialist in sixteenth-century Italian art with a focus on Raphael, along with 16th century Italian musical prologue of Renaissance Marian music CSU Professor of Music Joel Bacon.

GAMA’s ‘Here and Now’ showcases CSU faculty, staff

Hatton Gallery presents virtual reality art show ‘The Hangman at Home’

Created by artists Michelle and Uri Kranot and inspired by Carl Sandburg’s haunting 1922 poem, “The Hangman at Home” is an award-winning VR artwork that immerses viewers in a series of quietly charged domestic moments where the roles of witness and participant intersect.

GAMA exhibition uses air pollution to create art

The exhibit ‘Community Smog’ is a partnership between the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art, the Center for Environmental Justice, the Department of Atmospheric Science and Northern Colorado community members to create ‘Smog Collectors.’

CSU, UW Border War game to include wager between art museums

As part of the annual Border War game, each school’s university art museum has wagered an important work from their collection, and the winning museum will get to keep the loser’s artwork on display until the end of the academic year in May.
