Internationally known artist and alumnus Pard Morrison will headline a series of Colorado State University arts events in April as he visits campus to install a sculpture at the entrance to the University Center for the Arts.
The name may be something you put in your hair instead of your mouth, but local beer judges picked Shampoo – a hibiscus-infused beer crafted by Colorado State students and SweetWater Brewing – as the winner in CSU’s second annual Iron Brew Competition.
While Johnny Plastini is best known on campus as a faculty member and printmaking area coordinator in the Department of Art and Art History, he also applies his artistic passions to growing hops and brewing beer.
CSU is a global leader in climate change education and research and has been selected to host a unique art exhibit and side events at the U.S. Center Pavilion in the negotiation zone of COP27. The CSU team will be hosting a booth and several panel discussions in the main area of the COP27 during the 12-day summit Nov. 6-18. in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in the Sinai Peninsula.
