Biography

Professor Faris' primary area of focus is Sculpture and Installation Art. Her personal work is experiential in nature and explores the relationship of people to place to object as affected by memory and individual perception. Professor Faris has been actively involved with the Artnauts International Artist Collective since 2004. The Artnauts Collective focuses on issues of social justice and the power of a collective voice as a catalyst for change.  She has shown her work regionally, nationally, and internationally.
