As part of the Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition, or CIIPE, The Gregory Allicar Museum of Art is currently hosting a retrospective body of work by Honor Laureates Joe Scorsone and Alice Drueding in the Works on Paper Gallery. Scorsone and Drueding have been making posters together since 1986, using graphic design as a method of participating in ongoing social conversations. A panel, “Picturing Human Rights,” which included Scorsone and Drueding, was held on September 21 in the Robert Hoffer Learning Center at the museum. During this event panelists discussed themes like environment, social movements, and human rights featured in Scorsone and Drueding’s work. The exhibition will remain in the Works on Paper Gallery until December 15.
