About Painting

We welcome all directions and/or styles of painting as long as creativity, skill, intensity of commitment and scholarship are demonstrated.

There is also a very well-equipped wood shop which may be utilized by graduate students. The enrollment in the painting M.F.A. program varies with a maximum of seven graduate students in any given year. Painting faculty meet individually with students on a regular basis, and reviews are usually held once per semester.

There are two of us with whom you'll be primarily working in the M.F.A. painting program:
